Everyting good

The Point of our life is to be happy.

Life can be really interesting…as a child I always grew up thinking my life was going to go a certain way.  Whether that’s working in a hospital as a nurse, married at  a certain age, having and raising children by this age, making this x amount money at this age, and of course growing spirituality and striving to be Christ like.   Now that I am in my twenties, I look back on those days in awe because I am so content with my life now and the time frame God had for me with all those events....“We plan, God laughs” that quote is so true!!!  Seriously, there’s no point in planning how your life is supposed to go…the key is to strive for the best and grow.  Life is a journey and I am enjoying every moment of it!  Live each day to the fullest with no regrets.

Tid bits and updates on mah life..since I haven’t been blogging as much! I need to get better and I will.

Check out my hair… I had my girl put some highlights and I love it!   It’s a mixture of gold and blonde.

I went to Texas to celebrate my friend’s birthday and get away from nap for awhile.  It was a good time!

Still working out and dieting I mean “eating healthy because it’s a lifestyle” Lol.  I am happy because my shorts are easier to get into now..so I am making progress! Woot woot.

Did I ever post pictures and tell you guys about Pensacola?  It was a lot of fun..it was a family vacation and Alex came along with us...we had a good time and just enjoyed being beach bums

Until next time! Kbye

Hi friends!

Happy Friday :) It has been extremely cold in Indiana but I am trying my best not to complain this year because it is very different from last year. Last winter was the worst ever! They shut the city down twice and it was illegal to drive... yep I'll take this cold over last years experience ha...

I started working out with my friend Jerell every single morning in January. It helps because we are literally neighbors and we motivate one another to workout! It's so much easier working out with friends and I mean that!! S/o to Jerellerdooooo!!! I also work out and take classes at LA to change up the scenery because i get bored easily with the same machines.

My daily goal is to burn 500 calories!!!!  I can do it….positive self talk!

I had a really good Valentines! Went to see Mike Epps with some friends and hung with Alex!

How are your New Years goals coming along!? I'm still working on mine!!! Leave some comments and let me know. Xoxo, Kbye!

This girl has been blogging for 2 years now! Yayyyyy Normally, I share this on all my social networks but considering I took a month off of Instagram and Snapchat I won't be able to do so!  I love blogging...it is the perfect way to express yourself without checking on any likes! It's simply my mark on the net..that I will pass down to my daughter one day or son if he is into it ;) haha  Xo, Kbye!   <3

2015

Happy New Year!

Thank you God, we made it to 2015! A new year, a fresh start, and most importantly an opportunity to leave the past behind. "Philippians 4:13"

When I think back on 2014, I had a lot of high moments and a lot of low moments.  One thing that sticks out to me was my health.  it was not my best year health wise due to being diagnosed with non allergic rhinitis!  That amount of pressure that I felt on my sinuses was unreal and I am so glad God healed me from that.

A high moment was getting hired at Cummins working at Spring mill.  I absolutely love the students and school that I work for and I am so blessed to be one of their school counselor.

This year ……I don't want ordinary, I want extra ordinary. I claim happiness, good health, prosperity, and opportunities this year because I have been faithful

I challenge you to put everything behind you. Let it Go! Your mistakes, those who left you, depression, and any other thing that is blocking you from reaching your potential! Let it goooooooooooo!

Check out my last years goals! I definitely made progress

#26Candlesticks

Hi friends, it is currently Sunday evening around 9ish and I am sitting here reflecting on my weekend and thinking about my life and how blessed I am.  God blessed me with a wonderful family and group of friends.  I turned 26 years old and realized that I am no longer a baby or teenager anymore but am pushing towards my early thirties.  I have bittersweet feelings towards that but ultimately I realize that Life is truly a blessing.   My friends threw a surprise party, went out to dinner, sung karaoke all night, drove 6 hours to rent a cabin in TN, and cooked for me while in the cabin.  My family and I went to Pizzaology on my actual bday, considering pizza is one of Gods best creations and it was so good! When I think about all the beautiful people God has placed in my life, seriously what more can a girl ask for? The best things in life are free. ..

Love you poo, this birthday was very different without you! Keep watching over me.  We all miss you!

Life

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your[a] life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. -Colossians 3:2-4
Life can be really good at times, and of course life can be really disappointing and sad.   It has been quite some time since I’ve blogged and there are reasons behind that.  The most important reason is losing my best friend since 6th grade just barely 2 weeks ago.  I was extremely sad, numb, and confused when I heard the news in Puerto Rico that my best friend had died but then my faith kicked in gear in full speed.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my  Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” –John 20:21

This guy meant the world to me.  We had a connection that was unreal.  I would get on his nerves; he would get on my nerves.  It all started in 6th grade when he was an introverted kid that wanted to be friends with me.  He was so sweet, he even bought me a jewelry box, a watch, and mailed me a post card when he was out of town with his family.  He was a sweetheart and was so caring.   Then………….he grew up! Lol he became the “cool kid” and became friends with everyone!  He also began working out and became the class clown.  He was still a sweetheart but he felt like he had to make everyone laugh and it most definitely worked.  Alex was the life of the party.  He cared about so many even if he joned on you and talked about you from your head all the way down to your feet.   We were supposed to grow up and always be there for each other but God had different plans.  A good friend of mine told me that now our bond with Alex is eternal, and he is now forever in our hearts.  I think about that everyday because I still feel like he is with me through spirit.
I spent a lot of time with Alex this summer being there for him when his dad passed recently as well too.  I am grateful for every single moment I had with him and there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about him.  Alex, I will forever carry you in my heart and I am so appreciate that you loved me unconditionally.
Ill be loving you….always.

Always looking up

Whats up friends! This week went by super fast…like its Thursday! Time is flying, please slow down a leeeeetle.  So I will be honest, I am getting lazy with training my hair L I need to look at more youtube videos in order to continue to train these curls.  I was doing a good job but it gets tiring washing and applying product in your hair daily!  I have to remind myself that it will all be worth it when my hair grows out and the curls are poppin ha ha.. seriously, this picture is me everyday…..blah… lol! Attitude and all.

Who runs the world? #curls

Let go and Live! Ask yourself what is holding you back from being happy?  Sometimes when I feel down, I pull out my journal that I have been writing in since freshman year in college and write in it.  It's my inspirational journal that I write to God and it helps me look back and reflect on how much progress I am making.  It also shows my maturity and growth levels considering I've been journaling since 2007.  Whatever is holding you back, know that it is only temporary and it will get better with time and patience. Remember, every negative thought…replace it with a positive just like I mentioned in my previous post.  Someday it’s gonna make sense, until then spread love wherever you go and smile!

Look at my baby!!!!!! I just love her.
