Just The Way You Are

Hello guys!

Its been a while since I’ve blogged…but life is going well and I am happy! I am so excited to announce that my sister had her baby and he is SOOOO handsome.  His name is David Jr.  Here are some pictures of him.  Of course I have my hashtag going  strong on Instagram already #aunnieanddeeje

And of course I cant forget my leetle baby! She has so much personality and I love her with all of me….<3

Alex and I took some fall just for fun pictures and they turned out so well! We took them on my iPhone and surprisingly it turned out as if they were professionally taken!  Look at Noah looking all cute too!!

I was in two hair/ fashion shows and I had the time of my life.  It was a lot of fun getting glam and walking the runway.  I learned a lot about different hair types and the products to utiize for those different hair types.  I also fell more in love with MY big hair!  They showed me ways to make my hair even bigger lol.  I also made some great girls who were in the hair show and I am grateful for that.

The other fashion show that I was in was representing a fashion boutique and it was at the arts garden downtown Indy!  We had a lot of fun and it was beneficial because we were supporting breast cancer as well.  Check out the pics!

Pizza! Pizza!

Low Carb Pizza= delicious

Sooo I've been measuring my intake, I even use a digital scale to measure ounces lol.  It is definitely working, and the scale confirms that news for me! Yes lawd...With that being said, for dinner last night, I made a low carb pizza because pizza is my middle name and it turned out awesome!

Ingredients:

1 tortilla
1/2 marinara
1 oz pepperoni
Handful of spinach
Banana Peppers
1 tablespoon cheese

Put it in the oven for 350 and monitor it as you cook! If you like the crust (tortilla) to be harder than cook it first in the oven for 5 minutes, put toppings on top, then cook it again for 15 minutes.

Kanpai!

Oh Japan.  You were so good to me!  I was able to spend a week visiting my friends brother..which is basically fam in Tokyo and we had the time of our lives.  The flight was 13 hours long and we flew standby...which was an experience within itself.  We even ended up in Hawaii LOL..Check out the pictures.  We tried some wonderful food and saw some great things!

UPdate.

This has been such a rainy summer but you know what..... I'm kinda enjoying it. This gives me a moment to duck off, pray/ do my devotions, blog and spend qt time  with Alex,  and prepare myself for grad school next month! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek

Life has been well... I have been making some major moves in my life as far as purchases and decision making.... Trying to get some of the things I want now in order to have things paid off in the future (my thirties..lol
).  Not only purchases, but also bills that are due that I have accumulated from my sinuses.   I just pray that with age comes more wisdom!

Check out my protective hairstyle that my  friends daughter did for me! She hooked it up and home girl is only 15 years old :) such a sweet sweet girl.

Wait... Did I tell you that this girl will be going to Japan next month?? Like literally!!!  Jeni and  I leave next month and we will be overseas visiting David (my childhood besties brother) we all three are so excited. Definitely a blessing to experience this!

I was talking to my co worker today about dreams.  Yep!...basic dreams and how powerful dreams can be due to your last few things you think about before you go to sleep.  The mind is a crazy thing and if you go to sleep with something on your mind, those thoughts can easily be triggered into your dreams considering they’re in your conscious.  I remember at a young age my dad would yell at me and say “don’t go to sleep listening to all that wordly music” because those lyrics, intentions, and traps can easily get into your dreams.  The best way to sleep peacefully is to clear your conscious by thinking about what your peaceful visualization place is before you go to sleep.  What makes you happy?  Who makes you happy?  Where are you at?  What does the noise sound like at your happy place….think on those things!   Example: Jesus and or the beach lbs !!!!! I love the sound of the water, the waves, wind, birds, and soft music playing.  Think on those things to create more positive, uplifting dreams. Alright I'm done with my social work lecture. Ha!

Side note: I can't wait to pass my blog down to my kids one day! That is my motivation to blog about my life so one day they can learn about their mama while she was traveling through her twenties.  Xoxo, kbye!

Everyting good

The Point of our life is to be happy.

Life can be really interesting…as a child I always grew up thinking my life was going to go a certain way.  Whether that’s working in a hospital as a nurse, married at  a certain age, having and raising children by this age, making this x amount money at this age, and of course growing spirituality and striving to be Christ like.   Now that I am in my twenties, I look back on those days in awe because I am so content with my life now and the time frame God had for me with all those events....“We plan, God laughs” that quote is so true!!!  Seriously, there’s no point in planning how your life is supposed to go…the key is to strive for the best and grow.  Life is a journey and I am enjoying every moment of it!  Live each day to the fullest with no regrets.

Tid bits and updates on mah life..since I haven’t been blogging as much! I need to get better and I will.

Check out my hair… I had my girl put some highlights and I love it!   It’s a mixture of gold and blonde.

I went to Texas to celebrate my friend’s birthday and get away from nap for awhile.  It was a good time!

Still working out and dieting I mean “eating healthy because it’s a lifestyle” Lol.  I am happy because my shorts are easier to get into now..so I am making progress! Woot woot.

Did I ever post pictures and tell you guys about Pensacola?  It was a lot of fun..it was a family vacation and Alex came along with us...we had a good time and just enjoyed being beach bums

Until next time! Kbye

Hi friends!

Happy Friday :) It has been extremely cold in Indiana but I am trying my best not to complain this year because it is very different from last year. Last winter was the worst ever! They shut the city down twice and it was illegal to drive... yep I'll take this cold over last years experience ha...

I started working out with my friend Jerell every single morning in January. It helps because we are literally neighbors and we motivate one another to workout! It's so much easier working out with friends and I mean that!! S/o to Jerellerdooooo!!! I also work out and take classes at LA to change up the scenery because i get bored easily with the same machines.

My daily goal is to burn 500 calories!!!!  I can do it….positive self talk!

I had a really good Valentines! Went to see Mike Epps with some friends and hung with Alex!

How are your New Years goals coming along!? I'm still working on mine!!! Leave some comments and let me know. Xoxo, Kbye!
