Tuesday blogin lovin

Happy Tuesday Friends! It is currently 2pm and I am counting down the hours until I go on a mini vacation this weekend!!! We are celebrating one of my girlfriends birthday in Atlanta! She will be 24 years old….yikes! We are getting old out here LOL. 

Lately I have been shopping for spring colors because I am so over the winter.  I have been falling for the mint green, beige, and peach colors! They are so warm and soft on my complexion and it’s a great look! 

 

Obviously I am so excited for spring to get here!!!!! Have you been wearing any new colors lately?   Oh yes, February challenge.  Now I see why its called a “challenge” :-]

Hi friends! 

It’s Sunday evening and I am straight chillen.  I am excited to watch the Grammy’s in an hour and the Kardashians comes on as well.  I am kind of torn in between the two shows haha:] #shamefulKardashianFan. 

Church was really good today! I was excited because my cousin and her two kids came with me.   This Sunday my pastor talked about “leftovers.”   Leftovers are unpleasant memories from the past that we have been through that we may try to erase or clear out… when really we should take those memories and be grateful for them because of how far the Lord has brought us. 

I enjoyed hearing this message today and it was definitely uplifting! We can’t forget how far the Lord has brought us even if we think are down in the dumps.

The Feb Challenge

Oh hi! I survived my first full week as a social worker.  This job is definitely going to be a HUGE growing opportunity for me considering I will be dealing with mental and intellectual disorders…but hey that’s what I went to school for right? :] This week was full of introductions and I also learned how to do treatment plans for my clients.  I am excited to meet with my first client next week! Luckily I will be shadowing with another social worker.

Wake up, Wake up, wake up it’s the first of the month! I love that song.  I think it will be fun to do the February challenge on my blog.  Some people do it on Instagram but I think it will be more fun on here!  I will just pick the days that I want to participate.  I'm not even sure what Day #4 is...do you?  Check it out. Weekend fun!

Hi friends! I had such a relaxed weekend filled with friends and family.  My girlfriends from college came into town and I met her childhood best friend! It was such a good time.  We all went over our girl Jordan’s house and literally had some wine and danced like we were 13 years old. I love my girls and cherish every moment with them.

Sunday was very relaxed as well! We went to visit my sister’s church and I definitely enjoyed the service.  He preached about the importance of paying tithes with the correct attitude as well.  I always feel good about paying tithes and it was beneficial to hear his perspective on it. Oh my gosh check out Bug! I have the cutest niece ever.

Back in the day

Oh look, today is throw- back Thursday!  I am currently watching Gossip Girls over my sister’s house.  I absolutely love this show it makes me want to take a vacation to Florida or New York! I think it’s the setting, the fashion, and their different lifestyles that I just love watching.  I recommend you watching it if you have Netflix :]My niece, Bug is sound asleep, wasted off the boob as my sister likes to call it lol. I love cuddling with her before I start my new position next week!! Check out these throwback pictures of me and my girls on the beach!
